School’s out for summer, but there’s plenty of opportunity to keep learning with the Madawaska Valley Public Library.

It has announced its summer program; it starts Tuesday, with a story-time event, for all ages, at Zurakowski Park at 10:30 a.m.

Wednesday will mark the first meeting of the Reading Club, for kids ages 6 to 12. They meet at 1:30 p.m. Participants can get rewards for reading through the summer.

And the Let’s Talk Science program is back, starting Friday, July 7. You can head to the library at 10:30 a.m. or to the Palmer Recreation Centre at 1 p.m. for this activity. It’s put on by University of Ottawa students and is ideal for kids aged 7 and under.

To register for any of these programs or learn more, contact the library at 613-756-2000 or [email protected].
