Maynooth sees business boom

Hastings Highlands’ Mayor says, for the first time since the late 1970s, all the storefronts in Maynooth are occupied.

Mayor Vivian Bloom says one of the factors behind this is the growth in business in Hastings Highlands recently.

Bloom says the community benefits as it will create jobs, and makes Maynooth a destination for tourists who may want to return, or even move to the area.
