Killaloe OPP stopped dozens of drivers over the holiday weekend, as part of a nation-wide safety campaign.
Police laid two impaired driving charges in the region. They also issued 52 speeding charges, one careless driving charge and a handful of other traffic-related charges.
The blitz was part of Canada Road Safety Week campaign, which ran until Monday. Police say, while the campaign is over, the responsibility for safe driving never ends.
