Rockathon to support Valley Manor rolls out June 16

Some Valley Manor residents, holding posters, yelled out “come rock with us” from their courtyard Friday afternoon. 

The chant, set up for a promotional video, was their way of inviting the community to participate in St. Francis Valley Healthcare Foundation’s Rockathon on Friday, June 16. 

Participants can gather pledges and rock on rocking chairs, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. that day. The event raises money for equipment at the Manor.  

Foundations staff says they’re excited to hold this year’s event right at the manor, so participants can spend time with residents.
