Canada 150 grant to be used to tell Algonquin story in Bancroft

The Bancroft Trails Committee has applied for a Canada 150 Grant to be used towards improving Eagle’s Nest Park.

Deputy Mayor Paul Jenkins says the Committee has applied for about $70,000, to be used towards a project called ‘The Eagle’s Nest and Algonquin Story.”

Jenkins says the project is meant to tell the story of the Eagle’s Nest in relation to the Algonquin Nation and its history.
