Road work has started on a stretch of Palmer Road in Madawaska Valley and Brudenell, Lyndoch & Raglan.
Renfrew County says repair is expected to take place near County Road 62, and near the Jewellville Bridge.
The road is expected to stay open, but there may be reduced lanes at times and minor delays.
The county reminds drivers to obey the posted speed limit. Fines are doubled in construction zones when workers are present.
