Melody Budarick, of Palmer Rapids, is the Week 23 winner in St. Francis Valley Healthcare Foundation’s Catch the Ace lottery. She won $1,482.
But when a card was flipped over, the ace of spades did not come up, so the lottery continues.
Five-dollar tickets are being sold at several Madawaska Valley stores.

Part of the proceeds goes to a weekly draw and another portion goes to a jackpot, which will go to a weekly winner, who turns over a card to find the ace of spades.
A third portion goes to support health care.
The Week 24 prize is estimated at $1,600. And the jackpot is now above $37,000.
