MV getting ready for Artisan Festival

It’s a sure sign that summer isn’t too far away now.  Plans for the Madawaska Valley Artisan Festival are getting underway.

This year’s event takes place on Saturday, July 8 at the park beside The Railway Station in Barry’s Bay.

The Township says this year, rather than accepting applications from vendors right away, the municipality is accepting expressions of interest up until April 15. Those approved must confirm their attendance by the end of the month.

This will be the 37th edition of the annual festival, which the Township says has a strong reputation of showcasing a broad variety of quality handmade work.

More information, including links to expression of interest forms, are here.
