Renfrew County residents have a chance to find inspiration from some Indigenous role models this spring.

The county’s two school boards have announced the 2023 Indigenous Speaker Series. They are free virtual events open to all community members.

The first event features author Christy-Jordan Fenton, on Tuesday, March 21 at 7 p.m. She’s well known for co-authoring a book with her mother in law, an Inuvialuit knowledge keeper and residential school survivor.
