The real estate market in Renfrew County appears to be cooling.
A Canadian Real Estate Association report says the average price of homes sold in the county in January 2023 was just over $420,000. That’s down about 14 per cent compared to January 2022.
The dollar value of all home sales in January 2023 was $22.7 million, a 55 per cent decline from the same month in 2022.

Far fewer people are selling, too. It says there were 94 new residential listings on the MLS system in January 2023, the lowest number of new listings added in a month in more than three decades.
