Martin Chapeskie of Barry’s Bay is the latest winner in St. Francis Valley Healthcare Foundation’s Catch the Ace lottery.
He won the Week 17 prize of $1,080. But when he flipped over a card, the ace of spades did not come up so the lottery continues.
The Week 18 prize is estimated at about $1,100 and if the ace of spades turns up that winner will receive an additional jackpot of nearly $25,000.

Five dollar tickets are being sold at several Madawaska Valley-area stores, with proceeds benefiting local health care.
