Bonnechere Valley man charged after voyeurism investigation

A 64-year-old Bonnechere Valley man is facing child pornography charges, after an OPP investigation into voyeurism. 

Killaloe OPP laid the charges after executing a search warrant at a home in the municipality, east of Barry’s Bay. 

The man has been charged with possession of child pornography, publishing child pornography, voyeurism and obstructing a peace officer.

He was released from custody, on condition he appear in a Killaloe court on March 8.

Police say the investigation stemmed from a report of voyeurism that occurred in Renfrew County last Thursday. 

Anyone who has information that can help the investigation is asked to call OPP at 1-888-310-1122.

This marks the second time, within a week, that Killaloe OPP have arrested a man on charges related to children. Last Thursday, a 28-year-old from Brudenell Lyndoch and Raglan was arrested on sexual assault and child luring charges

Police say the cases are not related.
