Bancroft residents will walk to raise money for cancer research

Relay for Life is happening in Bancroft tonight to raise money for cancer research.

The event will feature a number of teams walking with the common goal of raising money and awareness. This year’s theme is ‘Family Game Night.’

Luminary Chair Sarah Walker says it will also feature luminary bags, which will be placed around the track for a special ceremony.

Walker says there is also a midnight challenge.

Walker says everyone can get involved.

Relay for Life happens at Millennium Park from 7:00pm to 7:00am.
