Catch Ace still leading to weekly winners, as jackpot grows

The ace of spades is still up for grabs in St. Francis Valley Healthcare Foundation’s Catch the Ace lottery program.

Amanda Norlock of Barry’s Bay won the Week 16 prize of $956. And Adele Yantha of Barry’s Bay won the Week 15 prize of $1,010.

In both cases, when the winner flipped over a card, the ace of spades was not found, so the program continues.

The Week 17 prize is estimated at just over $1,000 and if the ace turns up this week the winner will also receive a jackpot that’s now above $22,000. 

Tickets for $5 are being sold at several Madawaska Valley stores, with proceeds benefiting local health care.
