It appears most drivers in the region did the right thing this holiday season, and didn’t hit the road if they were impaired.
Results from Killaloe OPP’s Festive RIDE Campaign are in. Police charged two drivers with impaired-related offences, after completing 88 RIDE checks.
The Reduce Impaired Driving Everywhere campaign took place over December and early January, in order to ensure roads were safe during the festive season.
Although the campaign is over, police say the responsibility to make good choices never ends, so they still encourage people to drive safely.
