Bancroft looking for First Nations representation in logo

Bancroft Council will be reaching out First Nations communities in the area for input on the town’s new logo.

Council members unanimously voted to review the new logo to include Native symbols.

Councillor Bill Kilpatrick says this is a good first step towards reconciliation.

Town staff will approach First Nations leaders and will present a new design for the logo at an upcoming Committee of the Whole meeting.
