Santa had two parades in the valley this weekend

A tradition that’s nearly three quarters of a century old continues in Killaloe this weekend.

The 74th Killaloe Lions Club Santa Claus parade takes place at 1 p.m. 

The parade begins from Lions Lane. After the parade, kids can meet with Santa and Mrs. Claus at the Killaloe Lions Hall at 18 Lake Street.

And then, Santa Claus will make his way to the municipality of Brudenell, Lyndoch and Raglan on Sunday.

The Palmer Rapids Santa parade takes place at 2 p.m.

The parade starts from the Renfrew County patrol yard and makes its way through town before stopping at the municipal office.

Festivities continue at the Community Centre after. For more information, contact the town office.
