Killaloe OPP issues assault charges

A 25-year-old from Sarnia has been charged with assault, after an altercation in Madawaska Valley last week.

Killaloe OPP was called to the Stamplecoski Trail just after midnight on Nov. 4. The man was charged with both assault and for breaching previous conditions. He was given a court date in December. 

Around the same time that night, police also responded to a mischief call. Signs posted by the snowmobile federation had been pulled to the ground on trail B102. 

Police ask anyone with information to call the detachment or Crime Stoppers.

And a 75-year-old from Brudenell, Lyndoch and Raglan is facing weapons and assault charges, after Killaloe OPP responded to a weapons call last week. 

Officers were called to a Schutt Road home at 5:30 p.m. on Nov. 2 and made the arrest. The man is still in custody.
