It’s going to be a spooky Saturday in Madawaska Valley with a couple Halloween-themed events.
The Madawaska Valley Public Library is hosting a Halloween Hunt from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Kids can go to the library, at 19474 Opeongo Lane, or Northern Credit Union, at 19630 Opeongo Lane, and pick up a scavenger hunt list. They can then head to local businesses to find the items. When done, they can head to the library and pick up a prize. Wear your costume.
And The Railway Station in Barry’s Bay is going to be transformed into a haunted house, also from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Saturday. So you can drop in there, if you’re brave enough to. Around noon, there will be free hot dogs and drinks.
