Killaloe OPP asks for public help in investigations

KILLALOE: Killaloe OPP has three investigations underway, which it’s asking for the public’s help with. 

One is a break and enter investigation.

Police were called to a residence on Bonnechere Street East in Bonnechere Valley Township at 6 p.m. on Sunday. Some tools were stolen. 

OPP is also investigating a vehicle collision that resulted in a damaged telephone pole. The crash happened at 12:30 a.m. on Sunday on Aubrey Road, near Fourth Chute Road in Bonnechere Valley. 

They say the driver lost control and struck the pole, but was not injured.

Police are also asking for help in returning a stolen bicycle.

The theft occurred on Casey Street in Madawaska Valley between 4:30 p.m. and 6 p.m. back on Sept. 12. It was a black Trek mountain bike with blue headlights and it was taken from the parking area near Karol Woytyla Square
