Local snowmobilers are looking for help clearing trails with fall around the corner and winter on the horizon.
The Opeongo Snowbirds Snowmobile Club is hosting a “trail work blitz” on Saturday, September 10th, to make sure that trails in and around Barry’s Bay are ready for them when the snow starts falling.
The event begins at 9:00 in the morning, and will last until 3:30 PM, with lunch provided. Existing club members and new people alike are being encouraged to attend.
If you’re interested in volunteering for the event, or want to know more, the organization’s Facebook page has an email address you can reach out to.
