Train Station Upgrades Steaming Along

The work continues on the railway station along Highway 60 in Barry’s Bay.  The landmark train station and visitor centre is undergoing a major refurbishment with all siding being replaced and more insulation added to ensure the building is more energy efficient.  In addition, accessibility issues are being addressed with a new AODA (Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities) compliant door being added to the structure.  The visitors centre is now closed for the year.
