A body in the Lower Madawaska River has been found.
That’s according to the Killaloe detachment of the OPP. Police from the aviation and emergency response teams located the body on Saturday, August 27th and brought it to shore. The male kayaker has not been identified.
The OPP’s forensic team and the Coroner’s Office are investigating the incident. Police are asking for the public’s help in their investigation. Anyone who spotted the kayaker between Tuesday and Saturday is urged to contact police at 1-888-310-1122.
