It seems that a large outage this morning was caused by a burning tree, according to Hydro One.
The power company says a crew is on-site removing the tree and assessing equipment damage. The Madawaska Valley Fire Department was also on the scene. The outage has affected over 2,500 customers across southern Madawaska Valley, Carlow-Mayo, and Brudenell, Lyndoch and Raglan townships.
The estimated repair time is 10:45 AM.
