Low-income families in Renfrew County can now sign up to get help as their children prepare to return to school.
The Renfrew County Child Poverty Action Network (CPAN), a nonprofit organization dedicated to raising awareness of child poverty and helping struggling kids and families, has opened registration for its “Tools for School” program for this year.
The initiative helps pay for things like school supplies, shoes, and backpacks for kids whose families struggle to afford them. It’s available to all low-income families that live in Renfrew County.
You can read more about the program, or register for it, on the Renfrew County CPAN website.
