New signs going up in Madawaska Valley, more on the way, says by-law officer

Some new signs will be coming to public areas and roads around Madawaska Valley.

In a report to Council, By-law Officer Corwin Quade says several new signs have been installed around the Township over the summer. Among these are various “no camping” signs that have been added to many locations throughout the municipality.

A “No Pets” sign has been put up at Wadsworth Beach. Quade says the installation of this sign has reduced the number of complaints.

The Township has also ordered signs in a pledge to keep people from parking on both sides of Madawaska River Drive. Quade says people parking along the road in Combermere makes it difficult for fire trucks to access the river if required.
