A severe thunderstorm watch has been issued for the Barry’s Bay area.
This includes Killaloe, Petawawa, Pembroke, Cobden, Renfrew, Arnprior and Calabogie.
Environment Canada says thunderstorms are expected to develop this afternoon, which may come with strong winds and large hail as the main threats.
