Knights in the Classroom to teach fencing in Barry’s Bay

If you wanted to know how to use a sword, you now have a chance to learn.

The Madawaska Valley Library is once again partnering with the Knights in the Classroom to teach Olympic-style fencing. Participants will learn how the sport works, footwork and blade techniques. The Knights will provide equipment and the sport is open for those 8 years of age and up.

The library needs a minimum number of people to register, but add that space is limited. To register, email [email protected] or call 613-756-2000. The event is sponsored in part by the Kszuby Cottagers Association.
