Two community grants for 2016 have been approved by Hastings Highlands Council.
Council will be giving the Mineral Capital Concerts $750, and the Algonquin Arts Council $500 this year.
A motion was also approved to suspend both from applying for 2017 community grants, as their applications were received after this year’s deadline.

Both will be eligible for municipal funding in 2018.
