Renfrew County renewing push to get Ontario Winter Games up and running

Delays haven’t stopped the Renfrew County Ontario Winter Games Organizing Committee from putting on the event.

The Ontario Winter Games are expected to take place in February 2023, and the Committee says they will need hundreds of volunteers to keep things running. Games Manager Cindy Burwell says they will post specific roles on the County website starting in September.

The Games are expected to bring thousands of athletes and coaches to the county between February 2nd and 12th. They are expected to be held at 18 different venues in the County, including Madawaska Valley.
