Additional deer tags now available from Ontario Fish and Wildlife

Depending on where you’re planning to hunt deer this year, you might be able to get some extra tags.

Ontario Fish and Wildlife is now accepting applications for additional deer tags in some parts of the province.

You’ll need to purchase a deer hunting license before you can apply, and you’ll only be able to apply for one additional deer tag until July 13th.

After that, you’ll be able to apply for as many as you want until August 16th.

Tags are only available in some regions, or “wildlife management units,” and you’ll need to pay extra if you want tags to hunt in an area you don’t live in.

To see a list of wildlife management units that still have tags, pricing details, and information on how to apply, visit the Ontario government’s website here.
