Several employers in the area are hoping to find some new employees.
The Barry’s Bay job fair will feature six businesses looking for full-time, part-time and seasonal positions. The fair is hosted by Algonquin College Community Employment Services and will be held at their offices in Barry’s Bay at 19538 Opeongo Line on Tuesday, June 21st at 1:30 PM.
Job seekers aged 15 and up are welcome to attend. They are asked to bring a resume, and come prepared to meet the employers. Companies at the fair include Bonnechere Excavating Inc, the Cabinet Shop, St. Francis Herb Farm, Tim Hortons, Madawaska Valley Association for Community Living and Murray Brothers Lumber Co.
