The Renfrew County District School Board will host a series of events for Pride Week.
The Board will be holding a number of events this week to be inclusive and uphold the human rights of all members of their organization. Amy Johnson, System Principal of Equality and Anti-Racism, says the board is committed to having safe, inclusive and nurturing places in all their schools and district buildings.
A Pride Student Forum will take place at Opeongo High School on June 7th and 8th. They will include talks by various members of the Renfrew County 2SLGBTQI+ community. They will also include team-building activities and workshops.

The week will cap off with a Rainbow Dance at the Renfrew Collegiate Institute on June 9th.
