The Special Olympics Torch will be making its way through the Ottawa Valley starting today.

Officers with the OPP, the RCMP and other law enforcement agencies, along with Special Olympians, will be carrying the torch through the area.

The OPP says the Law Enforcement Torch Run is the largest source of revenue for Special Olympics Ontario, which support over 19,000 athletes.

If you want to see the torch, it will be at Pembroke Town Hall at 10:45 today, at the Petawawa Legion at 1:30pm, and at the Barry’s Barry Credit Union at 2:00pm. You can also catch the torch at the Renfrew County Building at 9:30am tomorrow and at the Arnprior LCBO at 1:00pm.
