Bonnechere Valley lifts fire ban

You can burn again in Bonnechere Valley

The municipality’s fire department has lifted its fire ban. Burn permits are now available online and at the township office. No permit is required for your standard two-by-two foot campfire but is required for anything bigger. The department says fires can be a maximum size of two-by-two meters, and the location where the burn is happening must be inspected prior to burning.

The fire ban was put in place in early May due to extremely dry conditions.
