You’ll have to rely on maps and GPS as police investigate a series of road sign thefts.
A number of road signs were stolen sometime before May 16th down Siberia Road in Madawaska Valley Township. Killaloe OPP is currently investigating the theft of the signs.
Police report 12 signs missing from the road. Among the road markers stolen were Bark Lake Dam, Kubeshinski Road, Sunny Hill Road, Herron Lane, Trader’s Lane, Yakabuski Road, Kartuzy Road, County Road 69 and a turtle crossing sign.
Police ask anyone with information to call them at 613-757-2600. Anonymous tips can be submitted to Renfrew County Crimestoppers at 1-800-222-8477.
