Valley Animal Rescue organizing fundraising bake sale for Mother’s Day

If you’re still looking for a last-minute Mother’s Day gift, you’ll have a chance to get her some baked goods at a fundraising event this weekend.

Valley Animal Rescue, a Renfrew-based non-profit animal shelter, is holding its annual Mother’s Day Bake Sale.

According to the organization, 100 per cent of the event’s proceeds will go towards vetting and caring for the shelter’s foster animals.

It’s being held on Saturday, from 10:00 AM until 2:00 PM, at The Warehouse on Raglan Street in Renfrew.
