Average home price in Renfrew County breaks half-million-dollar mark

Home prices in the region continue to grow to record high levels.

The Renfrew County Real Estate Board reports that in the month of March, the average home price was over $509,000. It marks a jump of nearly 25 per cent over last year.

However, home sales have slowed as well as inventory continues to be at all-time lows. Active listings are down 30 per cent over last year and are 76 per cent below the ten-year average. Sales slumped to nearly 40 per cent of what they were last year.
