Both the Killaloe and Bancroft detachments of the OPP have continued to find large hauls of stolen goods.

The Killaloe OPP has arrested a 45-year-old from Bancroft in relation to several break-and-enters that took place in Hastings Highlands and Madawaska Valley last year. Throughout the month of October, police received reports of stolen ATVs, UTVs, generators, power tools and appliances.

Police have charged the Bancroft resident with six counts of possession of property obtained by crime. He has also been charged with two counts of break and enter, trafficking a controlled substance, and failure to comply with a release order and probation.

The arrest comes on the heels of another cache of stolen goods found in Hastings Highlands on March 17th. A 45-year-old Hastings Highlands resident was charged with numerous counts of theft. Police have not indicated the two arrests were related.
