Bancroft, Killaloe OPP detachments find stolen property cache in Hastings Highlands

Many detachments of the OPP executed a warrant in Hastings Highlands, and found a lot of stolen property.

Members of the Bancroft, Killaloe, Central Hastings, and Quinte West branches executed a warrant in the municipality on March 17th. They found what they called a large quantity of stolen property. This included ATVS, chainsaws, power tools, fishing gear, motors, generators and vessels. Among the stolen property included a travel trailer worth around $50,000.

A 45 year old resident of Hastings Highlands has been charged with four counts of possession of stolen property, and four counts of unauthorized possession of a firearm. They will appear at the Court of Justice in Bancroft on April 12th.
