The Pembroke-Petawawa District Community Foundation is accepting applications for grants again this year.
They say registered charities may be eligible for grants of up to $10,000. The funding would go towards a community project that isn’t covered under other grants. A charitable number is needed to apply or be a donee recognized by Revenue Canada.
The process has been streamlined this year. Full applications are all that is needed to apply, as the Foundation no longer needs letters of intent to begin the process. The deadline is March 31st and applications can be found on their website.
Past recipients include the Killaloe Resource Center, Eganville and District Seniors Needs Association, and the Bonnechere Arts and Historical Society.
