The Renfrew County District School Board is continuing its reopening plan by allowing the community to use its spaces.
The Board is now accepting applications for adult and for-profit user groups. These groups can start renting gyms and auditoriums starting March 21st. On that day, parent and guardian spectators will be allowed to attend community bookings, so long as they sign in, screen for COVID-19 and wear masks at all times. Also on the 21st, permit supervisors won’t have to verify vaccination status.
In addition, permits are now open for summer camps until May 1st. Facilities in high schools can be rented out for weekdays during the month of July from 8 AM until 3 PM. Fields may also be rented starting April 1st.
