Several snowmobile trails close across region

The recent thaws have affected large parts of the snowmobile trail system in the area.

The Ontario Federation of Snowmobile Clubs says parts of the B, E and A trails have been listed as unavailable across the region. Trails like the 150, the 612, the 159 and the 900 series trails are not available for use.

However, several paths are still listed as limitedly available. The B106E between Whitney and Bancroft is open, as well as the E109 from Lake St. Peter to Barry’s Bay. Limited trails are considered open, but riders should exercise extreme care, and reduce speeds.
