Police are looking into the cause of a crash that left a Killaloe teen with life-threatening injuries.
The Killaloe OPP responded to a call around 8:30 PM on February 5th of a serious single-vehicle collision on Mask Road in Killaloe-Hagarty-Richards Township. Police say that the 18-year-old driver was travelling eastbound on the road when they lost control, entered the ditch and struck a tree. The driver was ejected from the vehicle and sent to hospital by Renfrew County Ambulance with life-threatening injuries.
Police are continuing their investigation of the crash, and are reminding motorists to adjust their driving to road and weather conditions. They also urge people to go the speed limit and wear a seatbelt. Police also thanked residents who gave first aid to the driver before emergency services arrived.
