Accreditation Canada gives St. Francis Memorial Hospital Exemplary Standing

The hospital in Barry’s Bay says they have been awarded the highest rating by Accreditation Canada.

St. Francis Memorial Hospital says they achieved a 99.3 percent compliance rate with the organization’s standards. The team from Accreditation Canada conducted a survey of the hospital in December and talked with staff, clients and their families. The team found that the hospital had good finances, accountable leadership, and a commitment to quality care.

Accreditation Canada works with the Health Standards Organization to make sure that health care and social services operate at a high standard to improve the quality and safety of these institutions.
