Bancroft area continues to see cases of Whooping Cough

Whooping Cough continues to spread in the Bancroft area.

As of yesterday, Hastings and Prince Edward Public Health says there are nine cases of the illness in the area, with cases now being confirmed in North Hastings High School.

Those who are not vaccinated against the illness are being encouraged to take part in special immunization clinics happening at the Bancroft Public Health Office.

The first is today from 10:00am until noon and 1:00pm until 3:00.

After that, another clinic will be held next Wednesday from 10:00am until 6:00pm.
