The Bancroft detachment of the OPP has charged a man with attempted murder.
Police say they arrested the 25-year-old on Sunday after police say he shot at two people last Wednesday. The incident happened on New Carlow Road around 11:30 pm.
Neither of the people were injured in the incident and according to police, the suspect left the scene prompting them to ask for the public’s help in finding him.

Konner Brewitt is charged with two counts of attempting to commit murder using a firearm, two counts of discharging a firearm with intent, and two counts of assault. He has also been charged with pointing a firearm and careless use of a weapon.
He is scheduled to appear at the Ontario Court of Justice in Belleville. Details to come.
