Watertower Park in Barry’s Bay eyed as location for new pebble mosaic

A new art installation may find a new home in Watertower Park.

In a report made to Madawaska Valley Township Council, the location has been called a good fit for a new pebble mosaic acknowledging the deaths of Carol Culleton, Anastasia Kuzyk, and Nathalie Warmerdam in 2015. Similar pebble installations have been placed across Renfrew County.

The proposed site will be six feet in diameter and has been described as low maintenance. If approved, the hope is to install the piece by summer 2022.
