After a confirmed positive case of COVID-19 within the Renfrew Victoria Hospital, no visitors are being allowed in the building for the foreseeable future.
“Working in conjunction with our partners at the Renfrew County District Health Unit,” the hospital says in a Facebook post, “Renfrew Victoria Hospital is taking all precautions to ensure that patients, staff, and physicians remain safe and to prevent the COVID-19 virus from spreading in our hospital.”
The hospital is still allowing essential caregivers into the building, and if you need urgent care, the emergency department is still open and operating as normal.
