The number of COVID-19 vaccine appointments in The Renfrew County District Health Unit will skyrocket in the coming weeks.
The Health Unit says that thanks to support from their partner organizations, they have drastically increased their vaccination clinics. With the move to a larger clinic site in Pembroke, appointment availability will quadruple in the comming weeks.
Manager of Healthy Communities Andrew Keck says people looking to book an appointment will see greater availability starting in January.
The Health Unit is still experiencing issues with their phone lines, but the online system is still available here.
